STA 2013 Summer Program- June 17th - July 19th We have an exciting Summer Program planned for students entering first through eighth grade. STA’s balance of academic classes in the morning, followed by a fun array of activities in the afternoon, is not only unique, but offered at an incredible value. Students can participate in a full day or customize their program to suit their needs and interests. Take a look at our brochure and if you haven’t already made your summer plans, I hope you will once again send your child to STA’s Summer Program. I truly believe it is one of the best in the Bay area. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again this summer. STA K-8th 2013-2014 Registration! We have begun our 2012-2013 registration for Kindergarten. New enrollment for the 2012-'13 school year is very strong. If you have a child to enroll, please let us know as soon as possible. We need to know how many seats we have available for first time families to STA. The registration forms can be picked up from the office. Spaces are filling quickly so please contact us if you are interested in having your child enroll in Kindergarten or other grade and we would be happy meet and give you a school tour, or find out more here. >>
St. Thomas the Apostle Preschool- Registration 2013-2014 St. Thomas the Apostle Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten learning Center, located just off Balboa Street on 40th Avenue is open! The new STA Preschool is bright and spacious offering state of the art play and discovery centers. The outdoor play yard features a-climbing structure with slides, trike area and vegetable garden. Highly qualified teachers and small class sizes create a warm and nurturing enviornment with a well balanced and enriching curriculum where children develop a love for learning. The Preschool is open year-round from 7:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offers full day and part day programs for children who are 2.9 - 5 years of age. Children in our Pre-K programs must be age 4 by September 1st. Call to schedule a tour- children are welcome to attend! Year-round enrollment & admissions. St. Thomas the Apostle School- Hot Lunch Program & May/June 2013 Menu St. Thomas the Apostle School offers a hot lunch program that is delicious, nutritious and balanced for a healthy mind and body. St. Thomas the Apostle School- WASC / WCEA Accreditation St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA). WASC is a world-renown accrediting association, serving over 4,500 public, independent, church-related, and propriety pre-K – 12 schools. WASC fosters excellence in elementary, secondary, adult, and postsecondary schools. WCEA accredits Catholic elementary and secondary schools in nine western states (26 (arch) dioceses) and the US Territory of Guam. WCEA co-accredits and is in partnership with three Regional agencies (WASC, NAAS, NCA) and two private agencies (CAIS and HAIS). WCEA began in 1957 in San Francisco and has a long and successful history of assisting school improvement through the accreditation process.
