Announcing the St. Thomas the Apostle School Preschool- Opening Fall 2010!
St. Thomas the Apostle School is extremely proud to announce the opening of our own preschool! The new preschool will be conveniently located across the STA schoolyard in Ryan Hall, with the entrance on 40th Avenue at Balboa Street. Construction is
underway and we are starting to take applications for the Fall 2010 school year!   For information about St. Thomas the Apostle School preschool, enrollment and admissions please call 415-221-2711.

STA 2010-2011 Registration!

We have begun our 2010-2011 registration for Kindergarten.  New enrollment for the current year is going very well.  If you have a child to enroll, please let us know as soon as possible.  We need to know how many seats we have available for first time families to STA.  The registration forms can be picked up from the office.  Spaces are filling quickly so please contact us if you are interested in having your child enroll in Kindergarten or other grade and we would be happy meet and give you a school tour, or find out more here>>.

St. Thomas the Apostle School Open House for New and Perspective Parents – Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Welcome to STA!  We will be having an Open House for all parents and families interested in finding out more about St. Thomas the Apostle School.  Come and meet the principal, staff and take a tour of the school.  See and hear why we continue to be a top K-8th School with excellent staff/faculty team and a welcoming STA community!  Children and family welcome, refreshments will be served.  We hope to see you there!  Find more information here>>

Hot Lunch Program & Menu

St. Thomas the Apostle School offers a hot lunch program that is delicious, nutritious and balanced for a healthy mind and body.  Lunch is $4.50 a day and is offered daily.  Download and print out the February Lunch Menu in pdf format.

Published!

The class of 2009 just published a book of their poetry!  This past year they've been working with Susan Sibbet from California Poets in the Schools.  We're very proud of their accomplishments.  If you are interested in purchasing a copy of this beautiful collection of poetry please contact Mrs. Riviello.

Gifted and Talented Program

For the 2009-10 school year, STA will be offering a Gifted & Talented program taught by Mrs. Susan Kepfer, our librarian.  Mrs. Kepfer has been in the field of education for 40 years.  More information to come.
